I just finished this; it was my test animation for my speech on Thursday about HOW TO USE FLASH OMG for skewlz.
As I shall go on to explaining in said speech, dancing is about the easiest thing to animate, EVER. Which is why any Flash thing I do is dancing cartoon things. Song is the SMB3 tune from Mario DDR, the soundtrack of which I torrented entirely just for this! In any case, this is my LAST DIVERSION from the cartoon. sewiously. I am gonna work on it this weekend.  EDIT: Okay so maybe I couldn't present this because of being a total fucking failure BUT I SURE AS HELL CAN ADD IN A TURTLE TO TAKE UP BLANK SPACE. Koopa Troopas are such posers. EDIT (3/06/07): Okay, one last time! I decided to bother you guys with unchecking the "minor edit" box because I did enough changes that I think I wanna show you guys. Well, at least, I don't think enough people saw the Koopa Troopa and now that I know how to work with Flash sound thanks to noticing something Soupface mentioned this one time, the sound quality is thusly improved!! |

You definitely are the best, Eviechan. You definitely are the best. Although looking at your response to Carbon, Toad says "alive" and not "fine"? I didn't know that ;.; Oh dear.. that definitely makes a lot more sense now.. and I can hear the "alive" now.. although it's still not so massively clear.
Anyway, you are a brave soul going to show your little videos to people XD I am still embarrassed of showing comics in real life.. so you will successfully do a one-upping.. and I think you did well with this flash cartoon! As I said before on AIM to you, maybe you could make him do a few more little moves.. since at times it just looks like he's twitching.. you could always make his arms a little fatter, too.. the arms just don't seem too attached to the sleeves.. like it's bulging out of it.. but other than that, I think you did well! His little legs moving about are adorable XD As well as the expression.
So yeah.. YOU KNOW WHAT I SAID ":-[" Just try to fill up a bit of the empty spaces maybe center the "Boogie time!!" or I don't know.
The song in the background is catchy and I want it. GIVE IT TO ME.

But yeah, I really will fix this up eventually because I do like how it came out but I already finalized this being what I show, in its current form--it was really a presentation on making a simple, basic animation, and this is a simple basic animation. I do wholeheartedly plan on going back and making this nicer at some point in time, though >
